Conservation Management
Starling Learning have wide experience of carrying out conservation management work including bog blocking, tree and hedgerow planting and pond. We are also experienced at writing habitat management plans.

- Blocking of ditches on bogs at a variety of sites for North Lanarkshire Council
- Building artificial Badger setts – for Community Windpower as part of a mitigation plan at a windfarm
- Pond creation & supplying & planting of local provenance native plants for Otter pond, Bishopton ROF. BAE Systems
- Supplying & planting of local provenance native plants for ponds, Carrick Gold Course, De Vere, SUDS ponds, Bishopton ROF.
- Scrub removal from blanket bog at Paisley Moss Renfrewshire Council and at North Shotts Bog for North Lanarkshire Council
- Hedge laying, Airdrie. North Lanarkshire Council
- Tree planting as mitigation for windfarm, Wardlaw wood, Community Windpower
